A station where your Colonists can research new technologies. Must be operated by a Colonist. Research is queued by opening the Tech Tree.

Research Station is a workstation which allows Research progress to continue while Colonists are working at the terminal.
It's one of the first objects players will place on a new station, and is required to unlock any branches in the research tree.
